Established in 1975, Srijan Control Drives has come out with AC Synchronous and Step/Stepper motors. In those days Srijan was the only company to make stepping motors in India.Commenced in a tiny garage, now is a leader in development of low wattage DC, BLDC motors for the first time in India. For last 38 years, Srijan has been well known in the motor development field.
Late Mr. Balwant Deshpande was the founder member of this company. Now it is a family owned business, which is now growing in guidance of Mr. Shailendra Deshpande.
Srijan has bagged ‘National Level Award’ for Naval Science and Technology Center (servo motors) by the hands of Honorable (Indian) Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, in 2006 from Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO).
Besides, it has also bagged 'Udyog Patra Award' in 19th May 1985 by the hands of honorable (Indian) vice president Shri R. Venkataraman for self-made industrialists.
Depending on application of motors, Srijan basically has two main business divisions :
1. Indian Defence Applications:Srijan has a strong capability in designing as well as prototyping any type of small DC/BLDC/AC Servo,Stepping motors.
Srijan makes MIL standard motors for Indian defence organization .Our motors are used in Indian MBT(Battle Tanks), Aircrafts, Missiles, Torpedos and Rockets/Launch Vehicles for satellite launchers.
Srijan is proud to be a vendor of DRDO and ISRO to produce special purpose electric DC and BLDC motors for mission critical applications.
DRDO is basically an Indian government run program, responsible for the development of technology for use by the Indian military.
ISRO is Indian Space Research Organization.Its primary objective is to advance space technology and use its applications for national benefit.ISRO is under the administrative control of the Department of Space, Government of India.
Srijan is well established in Indian Defence market as motor supplier. Our organization is highly appreciated in the market for custom built motors; in short, custom made products is our standard.
2. Industrial applications::
Srijan makes stepper and synchronous motors for various industrial applications. We are as well coming up with low wattage BLDC / AC servo motors and controls for various industrial applications.
